Abstract

The bolang learning media uses 2 methods, namely taking and throwing the ball. Taking the ball as an implementation of theoretical opportunities, throwing the ball as an implementation of empirical opportunities as a consolidation of material concepts. The aim is to find out: 1) student learning outcomes before learning; 2) student learning outcomes after learning; 3) differences in student learning outcomes on opportunity material between before and after the implementation of the Bolang (Opportunity Ball) learning media for class VIII NU Mifatkhul Jannah Middle School. Research design One group pretest posttest. Sample of class VIII 8 students. Data collection with written tests and documentation. Data analysis using t test. The average pretest score was 49.5, which was in the poor category. The average posttest score of 67.5 is quite good. Based on data analysis at a significance level of 5%, ttable = 1.740 > tcount = 6.59 HO is rejected and Ha is accepted. So there is a difference between before and after the application of the ballang learning media (ball of opportunity) on student learning outcomes in class VIII opportunity material at NU Miftakhul Jannah Middle School.
