Copyright Notification

Authors who publish in the Journal of English Language Education (JoElangEdu) agree to the following terms regarding copyright and licensing:


1. COPYRIGHT RETENTION
Authors retain copyright to their published work without restrictions. Authors grant JoElangEdu the right to publish the article for the first time under a Creative Commons license.


2. LICENSE TYPE
All articles in JoElangEdu are published under the Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 4.0 International License (CC BY-SA 4.0). This license permits others to:
• Share — copy and redistribute the material in any medium or format.
• Adapt — remix, transform, and build upon the material for any purpose, even commercially.

Under the following terms:
• Attribution — Appropriate credit must be given, a link to the license provided, and any changes indicated.
• ShareAlike — If you remix, transform, or build upon the material, you must distribute your contributions under the same license as the original.
• No additional restrictions — You may not apply legal terms or technological measures that legally restrict others from doing anything the license permits.


3. AUTHOR DISTRIBUTION RIGHTS
Authors are permitted and encouraged to:
• Post the published version or preprint online (e.g., in institutional repositories, personal websites,           academic networks) before, during, and after the submission process.
• Use the published work in teaching, conference presentations, and future publications.
• Deposit the article in repositories without embargo, provided proper attribution and a link to the original publication in JoElangEdu are included.


4. NON-EXCLUSIVE DISTRIBUTION
Authors may enter into separate contractual arrangements for the non-exclusive distribution of the journal's published version (e.g., in a book, repository, or coursepack) with an acknowledgement of its initial publication in JoElangEdu.


5. READER RIGHTS
Under CC BY-SA 4.0, readers and users are free to:
• Download and share articles.
• Translate, adapt, and reuse content.
• Use articles for educational, research, and commercial purposes, provided proper attribution is given.


6. AUTHOR WARRANTY
By submitting to JoElangEdu, authors warrant that:
• The article is original, has not been published before, and is not under consideration elsewhere.
• They have secured all necessary permissions for third-party materials.
• They have the right to enter into this copyright and licensing agreement.


7. PUBLISHER ARCHIVING AND PRESERVATION
JoElangEdu reserves the right to:
• Preserve and permanently distribute the published content through its website and trusted digital archives.
• Migrate articles to new formats and platforms for long-term accessibility.


8. CORRECTIONS AND RETRACTIONS
If an article needs to be corrected or retracted, JoElangEdu will follow COPE guidelines while maintaining the integrity of the scholarly record. Notices of correction or retraction will be linked to the original article.
