Withdrawal of Manuscripts
JoElangEdu permits manuscript withdrawal under valid circumstances with proper procedure. Authors may withdraw a submission before publication if errors are discovered, all authors consent, or ethical issues arise. To withdraw, the corresponding author must submit a formal email request including manuscript ID, title, and signed agreement from all co-authors. Withdrawal before peer review is generally allowed without penalty, while withdrawal during review or after acceptance requires strong justification and may affect future submissions. Unethical withdrawal—such as withdrawing to submit elsewhere after receiving reviews—may lead to sanctions, including submission bans for 1–3 years. Published articles cannot be withdrawn but may be corrected or retracted following our retraction policy if necessary. For withdrawal requests, contact the editorial office at joelangedu@upms.ac.id with the subject “Withdrawal Request – [Manuscript ID]”.
